- 1967 Nasser expels the UN peacekeeping force from the Canal zone
- Egyptians close the straits to the Israelis and mass troops on the border
- Israelis with the help of intelligence know of the attack and follow through with first-strike policy

Summary
The UN Peacekeeping force was expelled by Nasser from the Canal region 1967. Additionally, the Egyptians shut down Israeli access to the straights, while putting a massive number of troops on the border. The Israeli's were aware of the attack from the beginning as a result of inside information, and continue with their plans through the aid of the first strike policy.
