Summary
In the beginning, Hitler used his powerful ways of speaking and captivation to his good fortune. He would go to the beer hall and talk long into the night, and when all his followers were extremely drunk, he would devise a plan to overthrow the government. In the morning, this plan was put into motion, and only 500 of the 2000 people showed up. Hitler and Gen. Ludendorff were arrested. While in prison, Hitler wrote a book called Mein Kampf, about his life, his views and the future of nazism. He then joined the German Workers Party in 1920, and soon became their leader. This lead to the creation of Brownshirts S.A. and then to Hitler being elected to the Reichstag.
